Founders: The Tutterow Family
The vision for Healing Farm Ministries was born in 1998, when our founders, Winn and Mary Tutterow, began taking a hard look at what the future held for their developmentally and physically challenged daughter. What they found was mainly government-managed programming that was woefully inadequate. Whether respite care, vocational, recreational or residential programming — waiting lists were long and quality of care and funding were inconsistent.
Instead of forming yet another not-for-profit or service agency that relied on government funds, the Tutterows set out to create a ministry that would open the eyes of the faith community to the tremendous needs of families and individuals touched by developmental disabilities.
